GENERAL COUNSELING

Our counselors have professional certification and expertise in many areas of individual and family therapy.  The Center has specialists who focus on diverse presenting issues such as:

  TRIPLE P-POSITIVE PARENTING PROGRAM

Are you, or someone you know, a frustrated or stressed-out parent? If so, The Center for Families has just become an accredited provider of Triple P Parenting Program, an amazing parenting program targeted at improving minor-to-severe behavioral problems in young children. ADDICTION CHALLENGES PROGRAM

The Center provides counseling for those dealing with the difficult issues of chemical dependency, compulsive behaviors, shoplifting, and problematic gambling. Treatment is holistic and based on the individual’s needs.
 

DRUG SCREENING

Parents may bring their children to The Center for drug screening when substance abuse is suspected.  The test may be a “one time only” occurrence or may be ongoing.  If the results show that drugs are indeed in the system, then the parents are able to intervene and receive help for their child.  If the results do not indicate drugs, then trust may be validated and the relationship strengthened.
 

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

The Center works with area businesses to provide services for their Employee Assistance Programs.  The program is designed to offer confidential assistance to employees, improving their health, enriching their personal and family relationships, and enhancing on-the-job productivity and satisfaction.   Our licensed professional counselors are also available for debriefing groups after traumatic incidents in the workplace.
